...it's a T20! Why the hell is it a T20!? Derp, should have read properly. Hope they livestream the 4-day game too. Ballance 43 not out at an SR of 172, I notice.

Is Nic Browne actually keeping when Foakes and Burns are in the team,or is that an error?

Seems to be the case oddly enough, I didn't even notice at first.
Edit: Actually, looks like Foakes on the livestream. Makes more sense.

And now the first class game. Tredwell with three wickets! At least Ballance is still in.

Ian Bell - 44. You're going to have to do a bit better than that, Belly!

Is there a more valuable player without a sniff of an England chance than Steve Patterson? If there is, it's probably Tim Bresnan. In fact, Yorkshire's concentration of players of that great-but-not-quite-international us probably the reason they're so dominant.
If this were the real blog we'd probably end up making an XI of them now. James Hildreth can captain...

Great to see Gary start the season well. Here's to another 1000+ run season!
Darren Stevens for the Unlucky to not be picked XI
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - James Hildreth (C) 5 - 6 - Darren Stevens 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - Steven Patterson 11 -

Stoneman to open. Rushworth to take the new ball. Srihari to cheerlead. Ah, with one of these discussions it's just like old times!
