"Essex have signed Wahab Riaz..." - exciting! "...for the T20 Blast." - never mind.

Certainly an interesting idea. I too am interested to see what it would be like.

So they have decided to consign Durham to the second division permanently then. Took them long enough. At least saves me from the pain of another pathetic t20 season.

I Kent believe it!
Again, though, it's just one FC match. If Kent don't win that, though...

Yeah quite surprised it's just one CC match, I thought it might be a timing thing but it seems not going by SA's international schedule. Ah well.
In other news, Yorkshire's announcing another signing at 7am tomorrow.

Posted about it on the confirmed coming & goings thread. I know it's only 2 championship games but it's a massive coup for Kent! Delighted to see him sign!

I'm sure I'm not the only person thinking: who is Travis Head?Yorkshire getting him in as a replacement for Kane is like Michaelangelo being unable to paint your chapel, so you ask Damien Hurst to do it instead.

I saw some of Travis Head during the Big Bash. While only T20, he did seem to have something about him.
Of course, there's very few players who could replace Kane.

Exciting moves for Kent! I like Latham, lots of talent and he's only 23 years old.
Interesting move by Surrey too to get Di Venuto (Aus's batting coach) as their replacement for Graham Ford.

Di Venuto has a lot of county experience, but has not really had a top job. Definitely an interesting appointment from Surrey.

First Rabada, now Latham. Kent are certainly on a roll. Whatever next?
