Stokes really developing fast, as he needs to. Deserves his badly downed beer.
So the next question is - what will the Australian team look like after this series? ? Warner Smith ? ? MMarsh Nevill ? Starc Hazlewood Lyon. At lest four question marks. They could do with a workman seamer in the fourth slot.
As for the batters - Khawaja? Burns? Bancroft? Even Doran?

Hilarious Willis impression from Root. Loved these dressing room segments.

Anderson is back in the 14 man squad, he has bumped out Footitt (poor him). Lyth still there as an opener but that's no surprise.

England will never learn, for all the hoopla about their positive brand of cricket, their conservative approach to team selection still persists and that will continue to be their undoing.

Australia are currently playing against 9 Northants. players. 9. That's not a tour game, that's a mess. Sort it out. EDIT: The game's apparently first-class, so I think Cricinfo had just made a mistake. Still, congratulations to Duckett and Coetzer for their fifties, and Crook for 142 off 96!

No Anderson for the last test, which isn't surprising.
Hazlewood has also been ruled out.

England win toss and choose to field.
No changes for England. two for Australia, Mitch replaces his brother Sean and Siddle in for Hazlewood.

Darn, I risked Cummins in the fantasy team as opposed to Siddle. Oh well, regardless of that it should be good to see England bowling this morning,

I'm predicting the SL game to be a better contest and last longer than this match.

Huh, the Aussies have learned how to leave, and Broad has dipped below amazing. We might (might) be in for a decent contest.

Proper test cricket. Testing conditions, probing bowling, disciplined batting. Where was this, when it mattered most?

Bizarre series really, not sure what to feel about it. The series is over all of a sudden and yet it feels like it never really began, strange. Don't really feel like celebrating because both teams seemed so inconsistent. Preferred the Ind/SL series much more so far. I mean, those teams have actually been capable of chasing a big total for one, haha.
On to the ODI's now though, which I'm weirdly more excited for.
