Broad has to come on. Anyone notice how Hazlewood is moving himself away to avoid the ball?

Stokes swinging it around corners here. Durham winning the match for England.

That's one way of doing it. I'd give Wood one more over, then take him off for Broad. And yes, Sri - I'd play two spinners at the Oval! Perhaps rest Root or Buttler (Bairstow can keep). Maybe even give Footitt his maiden Test. I'm a massive cricket troll.

My XI for Oval: Cook, Lyth, Bell, Root, Stokes, Bairstow, Ali, Rashid, Wood, Broad, Footitt.
Give Rashid and Footitt a go. And tell Buttler, you are our No.1 but just take a rest for this one.

Dropping Finny seems harsh, but there's not much else you can do (it's him or Wood). Good team, Sri. And great ball, Wood! Horses for courses and that.

ha ha, good one. I wouldn't say drop Finn, but just ease him into the side. I wouldn't mind dropping Wood either, but Woody is quicker and as he showed, he has a mean yorker.
Tell Finn, Anderson isn't going to be around forever, you will be our main man within the next 12 months.
NOTE: Australia crumbling against the might of the North, go DURHAM.

MARK WOOOOOOOOOD! I spare a thought for Stuart Broad, but Wood must feel on top of the world! Some good man-management from Cooky there. Well done England!

Clarke's retirement official, from the man himself. Feel bad for the bloke to go out on a low but he has had a great career, will be missed.

Especially by England! I kid, I kid. Great player, Clarke, who just dropped off dramatically towards the end. As do many greats - Tendulkar didn't bow out gracefully. I'm sure he'll have some great times in domestic leagues around the world for a while.

In other news, Joe Root has taken that no. 1 test batsman spot. Well deserved.

Michael Clarke is one of the best sporting role models you could get. The way he dealt with Hughesy, his actual batting itself and his leadership. One of the greats.
