No Vaddon. That was a smash-and-grab raid on Australia's dignity. I even felt a little sorry for them near the end.
Don't get me wrong, I still want to see England get to 600 and crush Australia by an innings. I might just feel a little guilty. Might shed a tear. It might even not be a tear of laughter.

To be fair, I did feel a little bit bad for Clarke, seemed on the verge of tears at times. Only disappointment is that none of the tests have been much of a contest so far, domination from one side or the other!

I'm going to be in a study group "thing" today, so I won't be able to follow much of today's play (not overtly): however, I should be able to join in again for the denouement on Saturday.
Question for today, then: who would you take to be England's attack in 2016/17's Ashes down under? Even if Jimmy's still playing at whatever age he is, the pitches don't offering him anything there. The likes of Finn and Wood, with their bounce and pace respectively, are likely to have a better time.
So I'd go for Broad (as the senior member of the attack)/Finn/Wood/Rashid (Moe doesn't get much bounce), with Footitt as first cover if one's out of form.

Wood is great to watch, plays some attractive strokes and just seems to bat care free. Out now though, 5 for Starc.
Anyway, I'd agree with the Broad/Finn/Wood combo. Rashid might be a better option than Moe by then. Jimmy could be around by then but you never really know. Footitt would be a good cover but it'll interesting to see the state of English bowlers by the next Ashes. Who has improved, who is upcoming in the county circuit and what not.

YEsterday was the worst day to be stuck up in london for a course. I couldn't even enjoy the Aussies raging on Reddit to every wicket And i'm back in london again today so i won't be able to contribute much *sigh* Let's hope we can get some more runs though! Bit naive throwing wickets away this morning.

That's two no-ball wickets, no excuses for it. Just rookie mistakes.
Sky team has constantly been pointing out many no balls from the bowlers too, kinda poor from the umps.

I really don't read S. Ravi as an umpire. He doesn't seem very clued up at all.
And this would be the match I drop Voges from my fantasy team - from Marsh, no less.
Nevill out now. He's not done much of a good job for my team either.

Solid performance from Stokes, some real gems in that 5 wicket haul.

Good player, served his time. Here we go - last rites. Half want England to play Kerrigan again at the Oval, really rub it in.

Kerrigan playing at the oval would be superb! This is when Starc and Voges bat the day...
Edit: Praise the mockers!

First team to have four different bowlers take four different six-fers in four consecutive innings. And they'll also break their record WLWLWLW streak!
Bring Broad on for the ten-fer soon, surely?

Nah leave Stokes for the eight-fer. Also, bring in Rashid for the final game, ffs. The Ashes is won.
