I went to watch a movie just after the toss and before the start of the game, once I say SA won the toss, I told my mom, the game was over, we might as well not play it.
Perhaps they could have paid heed to what I said. Anyways, thankfully I didn't watch the first innings, for I would have surely broken something in my room.

I'm going for India to lose by 200 runs.

Great week for Test cricket. All the top six teams in action.
Heard talk of rank turners for this series. Three spinners maybe (Ashwin/Jaddu/Mishra), then Bhuvi and Yadav/Aaron?
And what the hell has happened to the Puj and Judy show? Seems like he can't buy a run at the moment.

For those who hadn't seen the stats video on AB, since 2008 he averages 62.16 in test cricket (65 matches) and 63.17 in ODIs (136 matches).

Bhuvi and Ishant most likely once Ishant is back from his suspension. What are you on about? re the last line.

Pujara had a dreadful couple of warm-up games, didn't he? Or am I imagining things?

The test is underway. Kohli wins an important toss on his birthday. India playing with 5 bowlers (3 spinners unsurprisingly) and SA too following the same pattern but only 2 spinners for them. No Morkel or Duminy either, so Rabada gets a go.
The pitch on the other hand, wow. just wow.
EDIT: on a pitch that is made for spinner, why on earth would you want to gift your wicket to a medium pace trundler? #Dhawanout

Three to a part-time spinner thus far. On the plus side, Ashwin must be licking his chops.
Well done to Rabada too, getting Kohli on a spinny pitch.

Make that four, fair play to Elgar I suppose. Never really knew much about his bowling beforehand, only just saw his career stats.
Good knock by Vijay though, all things considered.

Songster, India showing that it is not just English part-time spinner they give their wickets to, but all part-timers in general.
But yes, this is a spinner's paradise.

Will be interesting to see how SA go about batting on this.

Imran Tahir is not a Test spinner. We all know this.
...He takes two wickets as I'm about to post this, but I stand by it!
