Just as you say that, he wastes a good start by chipping it straight to the long off fielder. two quick wickets down.

Amla seems a bit out of sorts recently. Great player, needs to play himself in though.

Even great players go through lean patches of form. He will certainly come good, that's certain, just a matter of time.

I love watching de Villiers bat.
Edit: Very next ball he gets our. Brilliant mockers by me, but perhaps I might actually do some work now.

If Berhardien gets South Africa home from here it will be his best international innings from a stop start career

The difference between Nohit and Virat, both players who I don't particularly like is that while both failed today, Virat took three very good catches and contributed in a major way, Nohit dropped one and has done feck all in the game.
That is the difference between a good player and a great player, great players always find a way to be in the heart of the action. While I may not want him as India's captain and like his temperament and all-out aggression, he is a bloody great player and I respect that. Possibly one of only two great players in this side today.

Again India get luck with refusing to use DRS. Behardien is so unlucky there.

what goes around comes around, India have been unlucky far more than lucky. Anyhoo, while Virat is throwing his body around, taking blinders and stopping boundaries, Nohit is mis-fielding, conceding the two easily and being detrimental to the side's cause.

what goes around comes around, India have been unlucky far more than lucky. Seeing as they're the ones throwing their toys out of the pram about DRS, they deserve it. Anyway, we now have a series, and Dhoni has found some form.

I'm not saying they don't deserve it, songster. Merely saying, it is not like they have always been the beneficiary.
The series is well and truly on and that is just Dhoni being Dhoni. I will stand by my assessment that he perhaps shouldn't play no.5 and have someone else take over as finisher, but as he said in his post-game presser, because there is no one else, he is playing there. And while he may not be the force he was, even a year or two ago, he is still a bloody great player.

SA have promoted Miller to open, and for the time being at least it seems to be working okay.

7th ODI ton for de Kock. Not bad for a 22 year old.
