Can't find a full list which is bugging me, I really want to know who the mad Scotsman is! Kyle Coetzer? See there are 2 Americans in there too.

The two USA players who are on the IPL auction list are captain Ibrahim Khaleel and Nisarg Patel.
The two Irish players are Simi Singh and Paul Stirling, but not sure about the scottish player.

I assume that Simi Singh and a few others might actually have Indian passports and therefore not actually count as overseas players? Would increase their chances of being signed I guess.
Although India doesn't do dual citizenship as far as I know, so not sure how that would all work.

I hope the Scot is Andrew Umeed for the banter, from a quick glance at his cricinfo even in 2nd XI t20s he can't be bothered to score remotely quickly

Unfortunately, only two associate players in the list. Attacking wicket-keeper batsman Hamza Tariq from Canada and exciting leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane from Nepal.

Buttler, Stokes and Jofra all playing for Rajasthan. That'll be my team for the year then, although they've also spent money on Steve Smith and Darcy Short. Of those 5, you think you'd leave out Smith in T20 but surely he'll be captain so that complicates things...

If weren't for Smith, they'd actually have a great team. Also, you have Rahane so he can actually captain the side.

I find the lack of interest in (some_ English players surprising given our revival in the short form, glad Morgan and Root didn't get deals, massively shocked Hales didn't though, some of the pie chuckers and bang average aussies and saffers who get picked is beyond me though

Kent fans are going to blow a gasket watching their new captain sitting on the bench at CSK as Dhoni's understudy, and their old captain tearing up Division One.

Billings won't keep but he might play a lot more than you think because only Dwayne Bravo is sure starter among foreigners. CSK will certainly play at one batsman, if not two who are foreigners so he might open the innings.

I like Jinks, too.
