Also shocked to see Corey Anderson was so cheap for them, less than a tenth of a Stokes. 3 Billings though. And this Samson fella has fairly average looking stats, but more expensive than De Kock (to be more precise, he cost a third of a Stokes but around 14 Billings), so maybe that knock was more predictable to those in the know than I thought!

I hope one day we see him in test cricket! Would be interesting to see a county sign him this year too. Wishful thinking perhaps, but he's clearly very talented and taking 93 international wickets already is incredible, including 5-3 against Ireland. 12 wickets in an FC game against the England Lions too... and he hit 77 runs across the two innings

Stokes was robbed for man of the match though. Danger of not being a young Indian I suppose. Stokes top scored for RPS at a S/R of 156, dismissed Warner, Dhawan and Williamson and took two catches.

More significant than a hat trick against tailenders slogging, but maybe I am bias.

Ipple 2018 sees a higher salary cap and a smaller max. squad size - Maximum now $12.4 million (80 crore), and squad size has gone from 27 (9 international) to 25 (8).
