The IPL is back for its ninth season with two new teams replacing CSK and RR.
To the uninitiated they are Rising Pune Supergiants led by MS Dhoni and Gujarat Lions led by Suresh Raina.
The first game of the season is between Mumbai and pune on Saturday and although most of you Don't care, as I'm a cricket journalist in India I do, so it will be nice if we have a few comments on this thread.

Let's begin with what team do you support?

As Chennai Super Kings are no longer there I'm left with no team to support which is a good thing as I stopped caring a few years ago

I like the IPL in as much as it's a form of cricket that's on whilst I'm at work, which passes the time, but I can't say I really mind who wins and loses.

Quite fun trying to work out the potential first XIs for a few of these teams, Mumbai especially who have Lendl Simmons, Corey Anderson, Jos Buttler, Marchant de Lange, Mitch McClenaghan, Kieron Pollard & Tim Southee even with Malinga out injured.

They have a good Indian contingent too with Pandya, Bumrah, Rohit (I know, I know) and Parthiv Patel. Could be a strong contender.
