Is there anything Rashid Khan can't do?! Currently top scoring for the Afghans against the Windies. Admittedly, as it stands that only means 13 not out... Hopefully I'll get to sleep before we find out his bowling figures, but knowing him they'll be top notch

Vanuatu beat Italy in the WCL Division 5 semi-final to earn promotion to Division 4. Not bad for a team in the now defunct Division 8 in 2011.

Good effort from Vanuatu to get promoted, but I think they will struggle in Division 4.

Not so sure, Malaysia and Uganda should be favourites but the latter in particular can be inconsistent. Would expect Vanuatu to at least remain in the division but they might spring a surprise, especially if Matautaava bats the way he did in WCL5.

Afghanistan win Intercontinental Cup after beating UAE by 10 wickets in Abu Dhabi.
The final round of the World Cricket League Championship is next week with PNG, Scotland, Hong Kong and Kenya fighting it out for the final three guaranteed places at the World Cup Qualifiers next year. The Netherlands will be looking to win the tournament and become 13th ODI team.

WCL Division 2 starts today in Windhoek. Top 2 go through to the World Cup qualifier so kid of a big deal. UAE probably favourites, anyone's guess for who joins them.

Canada has a young team with potential, while Namibia and Nepal are pretty inconsistent. I think it is very hard to predict who will finish in the top 2.

Nepal beat Namibia by one wicket and four balls. 139/9 at 49.2. Ouch.

Nepal beat Namibia by one wicket and four balls. 139/9 at 49.2. Ouch. There was a thunderstorm going on in the distance when they came back out after the rain delay too. Would have gone off for bad light anywhere else in the world.

Very well played then, Nepalese tail. Namibia playing at home as well.
Cricinfo started doing text commentary after the rain break, you could tell they’d picked up on the interest.
