More of this sort of thi- what? Oh. What a dickish thing to say. "The players shouldn't suffer - but we're cutting all their funding."

Sad state of affairs for Nepalese cricket, which I hope they turn around. I hope the ICC help to sort out the mess, like they have with USA cricket.

C'mon Ireland, 170/7 at time of writing, bowl 'em out for under 200 and actually chase that thing.

Afghanistan finish on 236, should be a close match.
Edit: Ireland won by 6 wickets, Joyce made a brilliant century.

Pakistan set Ireland a massive 338 in 47 overs, Sharjeel Khan making 152 in only 86 balls and Barry McCarthy taking 4 for 62.
Edit: Pakistan rout Ireland for just 82, Imad Wasim taking 5 for 14.

Ireland vs. HK without two of HK's best players in the Intercontinental Cup. Massive mismatch anyone?
Tanwir Afzal - 3-1-4-0 + Ed Joyce = 4-1-20-0.

Very good win for Afghanistan in their warm-up against a Bangladesh Cricket Board XI.

For anyone interested, WCL Division 4 starts later today in Los Angeles, the start of a long road to possible World Cup qualification. The teams involved are USA, Bermuda, Oman, Jersey, Denmark and Italy playing a round-robin format with top two teams being promoted to Division 3. The favourites to be promoted are Oman and the USA.
Players to look out for:
Jonty Jennar (Jersey) and Delray Rawlins (Bermuda) who are at Sussex. Kamau Leverock (Bermuda) nephew of Dwayne Leverock. Amjad Khan (Denmark) former England bowler. Carl Sandri (Italy) played in the Big Bash.

I'm just being amused by the list of names in the Italy/Denmark match. About four of them are actually Italian/Danish. I know we live in a multicultural era of improving global movement, and I personally think that this is a good thing; but cripes.

Most of the Danish players are born in Denmark, and the majority of players have lived in these countries for many years.
Wins for Oman, USA and Denmark on the opening day of the tournament.
