Tahir gets two in his finalover, and SA will feel they should win this. Down to the wire.

Worra match! Sri, your thoughts: Dhoni or no Dhoni?

Obviously, Dhoni. He might not be the player he was a year or so ago, but he is still one of only five batsmen in ODI history to average over 50 and India don't have a better w/k batsman when it comes to LO cricket. So I'd like him to stay at least until T20 World Cup.
One of the reasons why I thought Dhoni to No.4 was a good move was he isn't the finisher he was, but he is still a bloody good batsman, so perhaps someone should take over finishing responsibilities from him.

Is his average below 40 again?

Yes. It is now 39.86. Although I'm with you, an average over 35 in ODIs is impressive

Because in ODIs the concencus is you have less time so you should attack earlier & play silly shots. Just an English believe I guess, mainly because we lack ODI players with high averages!

Perhaps as you say it is an English thing, ODIs you have plenty of time, especially if you open. So an average in the 40s is minimum, but perhaps in England where the ball moves a lot it is different. But overall anything over 40 is very good, over 50 is exceptional/legend

That death bowling tho.

Brilliant death bowling form Rabada. But that man Dhoni again. Cometh the hour cometh the man, drags India to a respectable total. Nowhere near enough but without Dhoni's 92, it could have been embarassing.

Nohit drops one after failing with the bat. He really is taking comparisons with Bell a little too seriously.

I'm trying to establish if your hatred of Nohit is as bad as mine with Keaton...

And what have you come up with, so far?
In the mean time, SA are off to a flyer and the fact that we dropped our best spinner in the first game (Mishra) given we were already without our no.1 spinner is unsurprisingly coming back to bite us.

The amount we moan about the pair of them is equal It'll be good to see QDK get some much needed runs.
