Very good series win for Bangladesh, good innings from the openers.

Four consecutive home series wins for Bangladesh. Zimbabwe, Pakistan, India and South Africa. What next for the Bangla Tigers.

Actually bowling a non-Zim. team out in Tests?
Sorry, getting a bit ahead of myself there.

Tests incoming, and the bowling looks weaker than ever. Batting down to 8. Bangladesh still don't seem to have quite got the hang of this "Tests" thing. Still, it'll be exciting to see if Mustafizur can recreate his LO success in the longer format. (I suspect not.)

I'm really surprised to see that South Africa are likely to play van Zyl at 7 instead of opening with him. I'd probably open with him and put Rossouw in the middle. Hendricks' average is, well, average.
EDIT: To avoid double posting- interesting that they chose Bavuma over Hendricks, probably makes more sense though. Decent comeback from Bangladesh, to already have Faf back in the shed is a big positive for them.

Sorry for the DP: As maiden test wickets go Mustafizur Rahman has just won. Amla. Then gets Duminy the very next ball. No hat-trick though. Then QDK out 2nd ball. What is happening?!
South Africa now 173/6 in s lot of bother again... Bavuma doesn't have a test hundred, now is the best time to do it!

Bangladesh still need to bat though and as good as the opening pair have been, I want to know whether they can stop Dale Steyn n co. from running riot.

It'll be interesting to see how Imrul Kayes copes. He's shown so much promise over the years but never really gone on, now he has started to go on with innings, can he do it against a top team!
Will be interesting to see Tamim's approach too.

248 isn't a huge total, but it remains to be seen if it is enough.

It definitely makes the game interesting. Good start for Bangladesh that they made it through the 2 overs before the close. This could be a famous game!

Know I'm late, but - Mustafizur! Taking dobble to a whole new higher level. I reckon the batsmen will be able to do a job - it was the bowlers I was worried about. No need, it would seem!
