Matt Hunn adds to his impressive list of scalps. Clean bowling Sangakkara after a wild swipe

Tea taken. Surrey 311 all out. Curran T c Denly b Hunn 4. Great effort from Kent today Surrey 167/9 after being 144/1 overnight. Doesn't fill me with confidence for our batting effort though!

What is it with Surrey wanting to change the ball all the time?

Especially when they're on top. Most odd.

Aww, Leics. already one Robson down. Might hope for a good game against a Gloucs. at an emotional nadir (if you believe what MfM frequently says).

Weird game that. Durham and Warks would have both been disappointed and delighted with day one for getting 314. Second day was certainly Durham's. Third morning was manic, wickets fell in a heap before lunch and it became a batting paradise after that. Try all they might on day four, Durham simply couldn't get the wickets they needed. The only constant though was the umpiring howlers and the penalties that were given as a result. Still Durham are third and will, in all eventuality finish second, so that loss almost doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Reckon the focus is back here today. We all know what'll happen in the Ashes - Warner scores a run-a-ball hundred, England will put together one partnership to give us all hope, then fold shortly before tea.
Things are much more interesting elsewhere in the country. Warks. vs. Somerset is my match of choice, with Trott and Hain both in action. Not many matches of interest down the rest of the table, but at least the results are less certain than at Lord's.
The Liveblog might even be up again! Who knows?

I think todays biggest news is Keaton Jennings has been dropped...
Oh and Mitch Claydon is back for Kent, even though he is the worst bowler in first class cricket

Well Graham Clark hasn't exactly put his stamp on that spot in Jennings' absence.
