To take the test into the final day

So will Windies play their 150kmph fast bowler or go in with one specialist fast bowler and a bunch of all-rounders like they did in the first Test?
Anyhoo, misery for Vijay means good fortune for KL, who will get an opportunity to notch up another Test century.

West Indies are awful, no fight or application.

At the same time as Sri Lanka is staging a fight against a possible two-tier system, Zimbabwe and the Windies are doing their very best to make the idea a reality.
I say "Zimbabwe and the Windies", Zimbabwe have currently scored more tons than the Windies over one innings less. And this is against "poor travellers" India's bowling. (Which admittedly contains an in-form Ashwin.)

Rajendra Chandrika has an average of 15.44. Congratulations, Windies. You've managed to find an opener even worse than Devon Smith. ...and right on cue!

Chandrika is terrible. Not sure what else there is to say about him. Well, his FC average is less than 25, which I suppose is stellar compared to his new test average of 14.

"Worst for any WI opener with 10 or more inns. He has 5 single-digit scores in 10 inns."

"They've weighed down the covers with wheelbarrows and bricks and various bits and bobs. And the groundstaff have left the ground."

Well. The victory may be all but decided, but Jerome Blackwood is keeping the match interesting for the neutral.
Oh he's out.

Very good partnership between Chase and Dowrich, good to see some fight.

Well, they've made India bat again. Scenes, eh? Scenes. And the lack of DRS is made all too apparent, again.

The lack of DRS is absolutely ridiculous.

Roston Chase is a magnificent name and a solid entry into my classic party game 'West country village or West Indian cricketer'?

Not a bad cricketer either. Not at all. Well done to the Windies, that's some fight showed. Hopefully their top order will take some of that spirit into the next two Tests.
