Very good century for Sarfraz, even though England still in a strong position.

I've said myriad times how boring I thought this series of 5 ODIs would be. This match is providing plenty of evidence to back that up.
5-match Test series, 3-match ODI series is the way to go, between the top six at least.

Yes! And with the tests last. It is so anticlimactic this way. Especially at this time of year. Test Match Cricket or footie? No contest. But I can also guarantee they schedule it this way because the powers that be think this is cricket's best chance to compete with footie. Tests are being set up to fail.

Would it kill them to give some of the other players a go?

So so happy for Alex. Maybe getting everything off his chest with that official helped him. He's been under so much pressure from the team & the fans to signing a new contract. Good to see a great guy, with a great work ethic just sort of say eff it and get on with it. Well done Alex.

Hales is a flat track bully but by golly is he a Rolls Royce of a flat track bully.

Dont think a Rolls Royce gets out playing fast and loose like that. Nope. Think he's a flat track Bugatti bully.

Ball in the drink. What sort of but(t)ler gets debris in your pints?
Also another mention of the BBC's "Butt-scoop". Don't think that'll catch on much.

On second thought maybe it should be the Buttler Bugatti. You know, in my garage I have a bright yellow, 1974 Jensen Healey that my daddy bought for me to fix up. I never did anything with it, but seeing Alex today makes me think I should just go for it. Ahhhh...The Hales Healey & The Buttler Bugatti that would make a most excellent Episode of the old Top Gear.

Buttler's quest to immediately break the 171 set by Hales ends at a very fine 75
Edit: No ball haha, I actually feel sorry for them now. Poor Wahab deserves a wicket
