England women are playing their first game at the moment against Bangladesh, with Mark Robinson in the dugout. Charlotte Edwards looks a class apart, as ever.

Lottie is great, always have high hopes for England's performance under her. Seems as if England will take this game comfortably.

Easy win for England, but good effort from Bangladesh.

Every so often I think, "Isn't she getting a bit past it now?" Then she does that. Brilliantly played Madame Edwards.

I'd love to see Afghanistan beat Sri Lanka here.

A few signs of life from Afghanistan with the sixes and boundaries coming out now. Hopefully not too little, too late.
Edit: Game on.

Game definitely on, sensational last six overs from the Afghans.

A couple of early blows and Afghanistan are right in this.

It really is mad that Dilshan is still playing. The guy made his international debut around the same time as Michael Vaughan, Gavin Hamilton and Darren Maddy. Such sustained excellence seems to be the mark of the best Asian batsmen... or is it just a lack of competition for places? It certainly seems that the careers are much longer there than here.

And as a Cricinfo commenter has mentioned, Rashid Khan facing him is 17.
Thirimanne boasting a strike rate of 12.5 thus far.

Run out by a millimetre.
Edit: Afghan fielding has been extremely poor, unfortunately.

Chap doing the Aus/NZ commentary seems to be an entertaining chap.

Rapid start for the kiwis but can't seem to get going again at the moment.
In other news, England (or any other country) won't have to face Malinga anymore, as he has been ruled out of the tournament.

Zampa bowls one over for three and doesn't get a second. How odd. 142 seems a reasonable score on this, will Aus do better than India? You'd have to think so...
