Yes, not convinced by the CA XI idea. Reminds me of the Unicorns, but some serious improvement is needed if only so they can put up a fight.

So sad to see WA lose. Any side with Klingon deserves win purely because of that fact. anyways good to see Head scoring some runs, that kid has a bright future ahead of him if Australia will stop bringing in ageing veterans and promote youth for a change.
anways, I notice that the WA bowling was stretched, which was to be expected I suppose. still.
At least CAMERON Bancroft scored a century, eh Steadzz.

Sorry Sri, it has been changed. Pretty embarrassing for me to make that mistake when I was campaigning for him to be picked for the Australian squad ahead of Shaun Marsh before the Ashes... Oops! Either way; Smith got 73 last night as New South Wales beat South Australia by 156 runs. Starc again the pick of the bowlers with 4/27 www.espncricinfo.com/matador-bbq-cup-2015/engine/match/895875.html

This isn't really for me, but can someone tell me: is there any circumstance under which the team with Mitchell Starc and Steve Smith in it WON'T win?

See my post in the General thread about his dismissal. Here's the gif anyway: www.gfycat.com/ImpartialInconsequentialBernesemountaindog

Yes, but those were Test matches! This is a one-day game, in Australia, with Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc on the same team. ShWatson, hilarious though he is, can't fight that on his own.

you didn't specify those criteria before But yes, I do agree with you, but WA have a better overall lineup though. Any side with Klingon is automatically better and who wouldn't want the two Marsh brothers in your One day side.

While I will admit the pitch wasn't the most conducive for batting, a lineup Finch, White, Maxwell, Wade, Christian and Stoinis should have been able to chase 210 comfortably.
But it wasn't to be as Queensland beat Victoria by 29 runs.
The Duke though was up to his tricks again with the ball as he bowled two maidens and picked up two wickets as well. #Duke #JohnWayne

Starc has 13 wickets at 4.76 so far, which is ridiculous.

I'm just looking at that scorecard, and wondering how the heck Middlesex managed to waste Gurinder Sandhu so much. Especially in LO.

After winning the first match against Queensland, Tasmania lose to the CA XI by three runs.
While Starc's figures are impressive, they are nowhere near as good as Sir's which is simply mind-boggling.
24 wickets in two FC matches, including 4 five-wicket hauls at an economy of under 4 and average of 8.25
