very true, in any case, it is relatively easy to bowl fast and practice playing that, bowling spin and learning to play it well however is an art form that not everyone has been able to master.

Speaking of spin, Moe's had 19 overs so far (and not done badly). Hope Rashid gets the same exposure. Bring on Stokes from the other end.

Yeah, I was hoping they'd bowl Rashid a little more than this.

Probably representative of what'll actually happen. He'll come in for the first Test (he's pretty much signed-on however he does), get hit for a couple of fours, and then Cook'll Kerrigan him.
If it hadn't been made clear to him before that he's a clear second-favourite to Moe (it had, of course), it has been now.

This is really underlying why Anderson should have been rested for this tour.
Yes the mockers worked!!

It seems that Young Johnny B is keeping - is that just rotational or is he likely to take the gloves in the tests?

Not that I'd want buttler dropped, given bairstow s form I'd rather have him as the keeper and play the extra batsman or bowler depending on how their mindset is.

What are peoples opinion on the 4th seamer (if any?) I think the selectors were leaning towards Wood before these warm-up games. Does Finny's superior figures get him a place?

7.1-5-2-3
Finny is certainly doing all he can.

First ball after lunch! Surely they can't ignore this?

Why not both, MK? If they're going with four seamers, I'd pick Anderson or Broad. Plunkett for cover only, although he deserves more of a chance in this match than he's had thus far.
EDIT: And another one! For two runs!

That bowling average is to die for!

I think they'd go with Stokes as the fourth and one of Wood, Plunket and Finn as the first change bowler to follow on from Anderson and Broad.

This match is confusing the heck out of me. The Pakistan A top order are now coming back in! And going back out again very quickly...
This is why warm-ups should be first class games.
