Starts today with the first warm-up game, with Moeen Ali seeming to be first-choice second opener. At this point he has a lower SR in the warm-up game than Cooky, which isn't the Moeen I know and get frustrated with!
Aaaaaand he's gone.

Who's come in at 3? Cricinfo is saying that's Cooks batting from both ends. He's good but....

Earlier it had Ian Bell at the other end. The Bell-end, I suppose.
I'm sorry. (leaves)

Cricinfo does seem to be having problems with the match in general. Gremlins in the system.

I know, it keeps on going back to Ali's wicket. How am i supposed to procrastinate my Monday away if Cricinfo isn't working?

Not too surprised to see that Moeen opened. Don't get me wrong I love watching Mo bat, and him being so wristy could be useful in the UAE, but he also plays a fair amount of rash shots, which makes me doubtful as to his opening credentials.
Cricinfo probably struggling as it's only a tour match...

Agree with you about Moeen Steadzz. He'll open for this tour but i can't see him batting there long-term. He could cause a bit of a headache for the selectors come the SA tour if he gets in the runs in the UAE though.

Follow the Zim.-Pak. ODI, MK? It's quite interesting at this stage. Also, congrats on your new ranking (as said in the shoutbox down below).

So it is. There's text commentary for the Eng game now too. All is well in the world again.

Bell's gone for 19 and Broad's come in. More gremlins in the Cricinfo system or is that true?
