Doing the Social feed of this game is almost impossible. Wickets falling quicker than I can type. #callypsocollapse

Darn, not what I hoped to see when I woke up (from the AUS/NZ test either). Bit embarrassing from England.
Edit: I do like that BBC commentary stat though about this being the first time in 87 tests that Broad/Cook have batted together.

The only good thing about this match is that, given the day five turning pitch and quality of spinners (one of them anyway), England are arguably embarrassing themselves less than India and NZ right now.

to be fair to the kiwis, they are playing on a road, if Southee and Boult can't make inroads, then you know the pitch is dead.

I woke up to BBC sport notifications showing wickets had fell and couldn't honestly say I was surprised. Very disappointing. I don't feel as though we can't play the spin, just we build ourselves up so much to panicking about it.
Bottom line is, Ali can't open in South Africa, Bell isn't good enough (I know he's averaged above 30 in this series but he has never gone on with his scores like a senior batsman should).

Another gritty knock from the skip, shouldn't feel disappointed with that. Loved his resilience throughout the series.

Disappointing to be sure, but at least Cook showed some fight. Now he only needs 220 runs in South Africa for the 10,000 mark.
SA XI coming soon...
Cook scored 27% of all of England's runs this series.

Probably for the best. Plunkett probably deserves a go in the ODI side, and we want Wood fit for South Africa.

Spot on from David Hopps, the treatment of Associate cricket by the ECB has been and continues to be shocking.
