If the next matches are anything like the first, this'll be a series worth following. Take a bow Craig Ervine. NZ's attack, meanwhile, look a bit toothless without Boult and Southee (and Vettori, of course).
It's completely within Zimbabwe's ability to implode in every single match after the first one, but what a win to start things off!

I couldn't believe the result i saw. That just shows if the Zimbabwean batsmen bat to their potential, they have got good players. Usually Hami M throws it away in the 20s though...

Implosion in progress. Oh Zimbabwe. At least they're predictable. Perfect chance for Williams to finally get an ODI hundred now though...

Classic Zimbabwe. Have a good stand going to recover the innings and then Williams gets run out. Great work by Guptil, but silly from Sean.

And now a slow farty-balloon sign as they score under 200. Predictably unpredictable.

Predictably, I didn't predict that! And a hundred! They'll still lose, but at least they have something to bowl at now. Excellent from Raza.

Clinical from NZ this time, dominated.

Found their gear this time. These are the World Cup finalists in action. Making a thread about this series may prove premature.
Guptill's strike rate only 83.3, though. Not exactly the MacCullum style of utter destruction.

236/0. Can't get more comprehensive than that. Go Kiwis.
