Fantastic win for Scotland yesterday, another example of the strength of Associate cricket.
I don't think England would bother with a European Championship as it would not be as financially viable to them compared to 5-match series against Australia.

Bet they'd probably avoid losing to Germany in a super-over though, so it would be nicer to watch than the football euros...

We've got Nepal, Oman, UAE, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Austria, France, Portugal, Cyprus, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Isle of Man, Finland, Jersey, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Sweden, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Israel and Norway all in action today. Must be some sort of record for number of Associates playing on one day.

A couple of eye-wateringly low scores in the World T20 Qualifier in Asia.
Myanmar 29 all out in 10 overs against Nepal. China 35/9 against Thailand.
As all T20s have international status these days there are going be a lot of records broken - the purists will be appalled!

The purists shouldn’t be following T20 then. 😒

Think it has come into effect in women's cricket already but with scant scorecards available for some of the smaller women's tournaments it's going to be hard to keep track.

Lot's of changes to the Associate pathway in 50 over cricket announced. A lot of it good, with more fixtures for the associates in the Top 32. Negatives - will miss the cutthroat nature of the WCL, and still no concrete news on the future of the I Cup. I guess it makes sense for Associates to concentrate on the formats they want to, but no multi-day format cricket at this level would be a shame. And of course the 10 team World Cup looks like it is here for the foreseeable, which is a bit of a headscratcher. www.icc-cricket.com/media-releases/881375

I think there are lots of good changes in the plans. Good to see that 8 associate teams will be getting ODI status and 12 teams playing more games, but I hope they don't forget about the teams outside the top 32. No news on I-cup is worrying but hopefully the ICC talk to the teams that want to play 4-day cricket and can sort something out. Also sensible is relaxing requirements to play T20 internationals and in the World T20.

I notice the cricketing hotbed that is St Helena are top of the T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier C. Amazing for an island of only 4,500 people. That would be a long way to go for a friendly...

Defeat to Botswana means they'll sadly likely have to beat the dominant Namibia to qualify for the next round, which would be an astonishing feat. Still, beating Malawi (4000 times their population) is insane
Poor old eSwatini aren't doing very well

For a country that’s apparently a quarter HIV-positive, that’s still not bad!
