Just spotted Steve Smith is still officially the World’s number one test batsman, and David Warner is still in the Top 5 for Test and ODI! Shows how much CA went over the top and the ICC barely cared

A horrible collapse, but not as bad as the Hathersage 2nds display on Saturday.....away to bottom of the league we conspired to drop 8 (EIGHT) catches (2 off me grrr), let them make 237 then get bowled out for 60 odd, losing 4 of our top 6 in one over..........

This did the rounds pretty widely on social media so you may have already seen this but its utterly brilliant if you haven't:

Assuming Vaughan and Hughes have been put in their own smug corner so nobody else has to listen to them.

Speaking of Vaughan, he has a new fan:

World Cup ticket emails just went out... Applied for over 2k of tickets... got Bangladesh v New Zealand This should in no way be considered a disappointing result: we put the order in the right areas, executed our skills correctly but just didn't get the result we were hoping for on this occasion. We go again. <iframe width="14.039999999999964" height="4.259999999999991" style="position: absolute; width: 14.039999999999964px; height: 4.259999999999991px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_8013323" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="14.039999999999964" height="4.259999999999991" style="position: absolute; width: 14.04px; height: 4.26px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 651px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_65201346" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="14.039999999999964" height="4.259999999999991" style="position: absolute; width: 14.04px; height: 4.26px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 152px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_26674421" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="14.039999999999964" height="4.259999999999991" style="position: absolute; width: 14.04px; height: 4.26px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 651px; top: 152px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_59529780" scrolling="no"></iframe> Second round got us six tickets to the opening game between England and South Africa, so that's progress.

Posting it here, because the 100 does not deserve its own thread.....but the trial match going on at the moment, Aggers tweeting a few bits, 25 ball power play, incoming batsmen faces next ball regardless, shower of bastards trying to recover some PR by insisting message is that this is for the current and new audience....also, it's wank.

South AO after 92 balls. 106 on the board, less than an hour played.

Warner and Smith back with 100 and 85 respectively. I've felt bad for both of them so glad to see them back.

Warner also has plenty of potential to be Australia's very own KP-esque selection civil war martyr, so I'm also glad he's scoring runs. Who will the Australian Paul Downton?
