Ahhh shit. missed transfer deadline and have not a single bowler playing in this round!!!! That is impressively bad. Shaheen and Hassan let you down? Shan Masood on the bench as well with ANOTHER ton to his name.....Afridi and byes for my bowling attack. Nightmare.

For all the chat of pitches being flat as anything this year, Somerset have 5 bowlers averaging under 20. Admittedly Ben Green has three wickets, but
Coverton 22 @ 16.33 Siddle 16 @ 17.18 Davey 8 @ 17.62 Leach 11 @ 19.52
Brooks has 11 @ 23.45 too. Just Gregory (6 @ 38.00) to come into form.
And the batting seems to have worked itself out too. That week off seemed to go well!

Impressive stuff from the Guardian's title favourites Lancashire.

Durham have 555 and David Bedingham scored four of them. Crikey.

642 is absurd. And yet I still can't see them winning this. No penetration in the attack on what is probably (let's face it) a flatty after the new ball goes soft.

Much less incentive to go for the unlikely win now while it's 8 for a draw too, so great to still get lots of positive results in the tight games

Somerset are second bottom with two wins (and losses by one wicket, and three wickets twice). Yorkshire are fourth with one win, but also five draws. 15 draws this season in D1, Somerset involved in none of them. It's a very strange season.

Can see the likes of Northants just playing for survival and getting 10+ draws. Hopefully reverted to 5 soon, that felt about right, 3 was always a bit harsh

Teams not enforcing the follow-on is a bit of a bugbear of mine. Derbyshire look like proper mugs now for not doing so.

Nice to see Sussex get a win on the board though!

Well, the decision to captain Rushworth has gone better than expected.
