New Zealand and strength in depth aren't words I'd expected to see together, but bloody hell they've got quite the generation of players.

Phenomonal finish there as Rachin Ravindra and Ajaz Patel play James Anderson and Monty Panesar in Cardiff.

Absolutely ace. For New Zealand to be able to pull off that heist against India in India after losing the toss... They really are the best men's team in the world, aren't they?

That was pretty nerve wracking to watch! Shame I was on a call for the last 20 mins play and didn't follow it that closely, tbh I thought it'd gone ages before that, an incredible performance to hold on for so long with so few wickets left, certainly wouldn't have backed us to do that

Add to that the complete and utter lack of preparation afforded to them, they constantly get the sharp end of the scheduling, yet turn up play well and consistently compete.

My 'phone autocorrects 'Ajaz' to 'amazing'. Which is fitting.

The batting didn't go quite as well. Although Awesome Ajaz was cruelly left stranded just short of his ton.

Imagine being Ajaz Patel, getting a ten-fer, and seeing your teammates absolutely throw away any shade of advantaged you'd chiselled out for them.

Amazing stuff from Bangladesh, about to win a Test at Mount Maunganui with some solid Test match batting and good seam bowling. England fans should be envying them right now.

Fantastic win for Bangladesh, playing disciplined cricket for all 5 days.

I've been v critical of Bangladesh in the past so it's only right that I pick my jaw up off the desk and say, well bloody done, on an incredible test match victory, hopefully this will be the start of bigger and better things for them, with the population they have and the investment they've had and will have, they could become a genuine player, and cricket is better the more strong nations there are playing tests

I've spent all morning saying 'Ebadot' in a Yorkshire accent and it is very satisfying response.
Also a great result. Well done Banglas.
