Some interesting warm up games today - WI bowled out Afghanistan for 163 but were then annihilated for 110. Juicy pitches could make this a more fun, you'd think.
Hate that the WC is now ten teams but this should be a super fun tournament.

I think the Windies will qualify but it could be a struggle. They aren't used to playing competitive cricket with real consequences for defeat, unlike all of the other teams. Also the Super Six format is a bit rubbish, it was terrible in the World Cup when used. Normal semi-finals and final would be better.

Oh my days.......joined and entered.....gone straight in at the top of the league...will only get worse, my approach to selecting players was utterly uninformed outside of the Windies and about 10% of the other players, laughable.

Got my team in, still think it's a shame that only 2 of these teams will play at the World Cup

Unbelievable knock of 123 from 66 balls for Sikander Raza which propels Zimbabwe to a massive score.

Phenomenal hundred from Calum Macleod causes a big upset.

Off to a winning start in the fantasy cricket, some would point out that I scored the 2nd lowest in the league and was fortunate to play the only person scoring lower......i'd counter that by blaming a poor pitch for my match, variable bounce etc....

I hate the chap, can’t stress that enough, but at least he’s playing for the WI in this rather low profile tournament. Looking at you, Sunil.
Scotland: dark horses of the tourney? This is clinical from Sole. Also Zimbabwe seem to be pulling off a rescue act against the favourites.

This Sole chap is contracted to Northants I believe - they do know where to find them!
