Followed that up by stropping into the match ref when taken off for bad light like an entitled princess, pretty poor form really

Kohli’s a stroppy little shit, who’d have thought.

Kohli’s a stroppy little shit, who’d have thought. When you are the best batsman in the world I guess you can take some liberties. Pleasantly surprised he's proving me wrong in seaming conditions. But when you fucking pick another sharma in the side ahead of the best bowler you know they are now selecting teams on a dare.

In addition to which, all of the commentary is about how subcontinental the pitch is. Doesn’t look like he’s proved his worth on a green top just yet.

Fair point but also a bit harsh SB....when you come in at 4 and score half your team's runs that's a cracking innings no matter what type of pitch you are on!
Watching it whilst WFH, not going to lie, would NOT want to be batting last on this, how Ravi hasn't gota wicket is beyond me, turning some absolutely miles

Oh it’s a cracking innings, certainly, but I don’t think he’s proving his worth outside subcontinental conditions particularly. We already knew he could score billions in home-like conditions.
Aaaaaaaand South Africa unearth another brilliant pacer. Where are they all coming from?
Overrate is atrocious though. They’ll miss out on 10 for the day.

Aaaaaaaand South Africa unearth another brilliant pacer. Where are they all coming from? Serious answer: their private school system which prizes sporting achievement over almost everything else. Ngidi and Rabada both went to very, very prestigious schools (I suspect on scholarships, without knowing their familial circumstances). The list of sportsmen (in Rugby and Football) that went to a handful of SA private schools is completely insane. Climate plus focus I guess.

That makes sense. Sounds like an academic negative. Silver linings and clouds.
Cheteshwar Pujara, you are an idiot.

Batsmen failing abroad, now where have I seen this before. Serves them right for dropping their best batsman just because he didn’t score as many double centuries against mediocre opposition as Kohli did
Anyways well done South Africa and I sincerely hope we are whitewashed here for all those god awful ads that were just driving me insane.

Bad toss to lose on that type of pitch, SA batsman only fared slightly better on first innings comparison

Sri, question. What, theoretically, does Ishant Sharma do? Bhuvi is swing, Shami is reverse swing, Bumrah is skiddy pace... What does Ishant offer? Line and length?
