Yorkshire never make a proper game of the kiddie cricket, which, for reasons best left unsaid, makes me giggle. Incidentally, these reasons are not all that much different to the giggles I get at the thought of Worcs winning the kiddie cricket. I merely maintain that the giggles are a good thing wherever one may find them.

Big night of T20. The Roses match is the one being aired on Sky, of course, with the England stars joining the fray.

The Notts/Lancs game was bonkers. Notts were 100/0 chasing 184 and ended up stuttering at 168-8. Lancs were penalised 6 runs and Notts scraped the win. Made a right meal out of that chase.

Going into the season our team would be:
Carberry, Vince, Adams, Ervine, Afridi, Wheater, Dawson, Sammy, Wood, Crane (?), Edwards. Briggs in there too previously! Outstanding team, but without the majority of our best players, I can't see us making the quarters, sadly.

Yeah, Carbs, Vince and Wood are particularly big losses.
Good to see McManus get a few though.

This Sibley player is having a great couple of games for Surrey.
Edit: Really missed Tymal Mills, brilliant again.

Sibley is the kid who got a double ton on debut at the age of about 14 a few seasons back - then disappeared totally and has now come back as a pretty tidy leggy!

Middlesex win a tight 9 over match by 4 runs, good last over by Steve Finn even though he bowled a no-ball for height.

Hard to say what was more impressive in the Worcs/Derbs match. Madsen's 59 off 33 or Kyle Abbott's 14.86 economy rate.

Good performance by Surrey, Tom Curran, Dernbach and the spinners bowled really well to claim the win.

Somerset are a shambles, as we know, but Allenby is not going to help fix his unpopularity if he gets no balled for having set an illegal field :/ Village stuff
