Nice to see Worcs win the derby against Warks, had 2 very successful games now. Elsewhere, Lancashire have had a poor start to the Blast and Yorkshire lost by a large margin too.

Cricket really is infectious isn't it? Something without a cure that just gets under your skin & stays with you forever. I'm in Tampa to go to the Rays-Yankees game tomorrow. The flipping Yankees. The icons of baseball. And yet I don't think it'll have a spot on the kiddie cricket between Worcs & Warks. Good to see Belly get some runs & I do think he's got a pretty good captaincy head. Granted his batting was a bit daftly unagressive, but his fielding, bowling choices were good. Seeing Jack Shantry is always a treat no matter the format. Don't get me wrong, I much prefer the Test Cricket, but that was fun to watch & has left me feeling a bit flat about experiencing some good old-fashioned Americana tomorrow.

Sussex vs Somerset on SS2 now (apologies Murdoch boycotters, I hear there are alternatives)
Gayle, Jayawardene, Ross Taylor, David Wiese, Chris Jordan, James Hildreth, Peter Trego, Luke Wright, Tymal Mills, Jamie Overton and Danny Briggs... not a bad lineup of stars for an 18 team competition that!

Yeah, Mills is brilliant. That ball to get Gayle was fantastic.

Comedy #5 Roelof has hit two absolutely monstrous sixes, one clean over the stand, over the road and into a block of flats opposite.
Not that it matters much when the required run rate is 20

Gayle failed. That's all I'm concerned with.
