He is in my view. Totally outbowling Huckle - and by a shade the fastest of all four. But you know how people are. Views set in stone and all - but many armchair critics appear to not actually watch cricket and yet are the most vocal about it.

A cheap 9-for didn't sway some people at all, for example!

This will be an interesting review.
Edit: not out.
Interesting because the impact was so close to where the ball bounced. Hawkeye can't have much data to go on in such instances (but I trust it as I trust the theory of gravity).

Sri Lanka are 311/30 in this series. England are 796/19.

When playing weaker opposition at Tests, it's always a good chance to get the big numbers and boost up your average. While Woakes hasn't done anything incredible, he's still picked up his highest test score and best test bowling for an innings!

Also, half way through the series (3 innings) and Sri Lanka have scored 312 runs. Their lowest ever aggregate total for a 3 test series in England is 1592.

Sri Lanka complaining about the warm up games. Considering they nearly lost at least one of them I'm not sure they warrant better opposition.

I think Karunarararararatne has a point about the quality of warm-ups in general - international visitors deserve better than a second-string Leicestershire side. Not just England either, remember the quality of the warm-ups on the Windies tour from last year?
That said, there's no doubting it would have some more credibility if their warm-up performances had been better. You don't get a lot of batting practice if you're bowled out for scot by Brooks, Gurney, TRJ and co.

Yes, but England did something in those warm-ups Sri Lanka did not...perform! I have no sympathy for them really. If you can't get up to perform or win because you see a team as lesser competition, that's an attitude problem I have no time for. I understand why teams don't want to put their best out there for a warm up. But I think they'd be ideal for a Lion's type squad. It can't be easy being a young cricketer on a modest income. I imagine the chance to play against international level players goes a long way towards encouraging youngsters to stick with it. Sadly, at this time of year, the counties would have a cow about more players missing out. No easy answers or solutions.

England unchanged, so no debut for Ball & a reprieve for Finn & Compton.
Personally I'd have given Broad or Jimmy the game off, but then again I'm sure they have plenty of monitoring medics who say that isn't necessary.
