Good old Chris Jordan getting smashed for 12 an over. Perth Scorchers are my favourite BBL team, good to see them post 197. Some guy called Ian Bell made 61.

Fantastic start from David Willey, 2 wickets in two overs.

Roy and Billings scored 40s yet Sixers lost comprehensively. Scorchers have clinched it thanks to Bell and Willey. Mr Ian Roland is flat batting the hell out of Strikers' attack here:

Billings scores 40 as Sixers beat Bell's Scorchers pretty easily. The two batsmen top scored for their respective teams.

Eoin Morgan outscored his former teammate KP, and won the game for Thunder with a last ball 6. He will be replaced by James Vince in the lineup. Also, Tim Bresnan will take David Willey's place as the latter joins the ODI team.

It was a fantastic end to the match, the Thunder hitting two sixes in the last over.

Hobart Hurricanes chasing down 223, ridiculous game! Even capped off with an England player hitting the winning runs! Stunning knock from Ben McDermott

After the storm, comes the calm.
Its so true really, that Sixers managed just 99/9 in their 20 overs. With a Nelson/Palindrome/the reverse evil, no wonder they lost. Thunder chased, and the match would intrigue much of the statisticians and mathematicians for such symmetry.
ALERT: BORE ZONE Please stop here if you don't like the number games. Some of the anomalies are:
In Sixers' innings, 6 batsmen scored in prime numbers and 4 of them scored in perfect squares. The odd man out was Daniel Hughes, who scored 20.
2 batsmen had scored at 1 run a ball (SR=100) and one scored one per two balls (SR=50). Thunder batsman Rohrer scored at 2 runs a ball (SR=200).
4 out of 6 Bowlers from Thunder and also one from Sixers conceded runs in the multiple of 7, being 7, 14, 21, 21 and 21.
Sixers took 120 balls for their score and Thunder took exactly half of that, 60 balls, to chase it down.

Perth Scorchers win the Big Bash by comprehensively beating the Sydney Sixers in the final by 9 wickets. Whereas, Sydney Sixers won the Women's Big Bash by seven runs.

Its fitting that Perth won their last game at WACA and that was so comprehensive in the end. Next up is an expanded tournament. It would be interesting to see how it goes, with 2017 already bloated with soooo many games.

Tymal Mills and Jofra Archer bowling absolute fire for Hobart against the Melbourne Renegades. Upper 140s/low 150s.
Woof.
Jofra is listed as RFM by Cricinfo by the way, which would appear to be highly unfair.
I realise it wouldn't actually be the most sensible idea, but the idea of Sussex fielding a bowling attack of Mills, Archer, Garton and Jordan is an entertaining one.

Archer is proper fast, hopefully he does not lose his pace playing all the twenty20 leagues and playing all formats for Sussex.
