Good start for Adil Rashid taking 2 for 26 from his four overs.

Kevin Pietersen putting on a show tonight. Khawaja got the first ton of this year's BBL too.

Great idea for Rashid to play in the BBL in the end.
A list of his figures so far: 2/27, 2/21, 0/39, 3/34, 3/23, 2/17, 2/16.

I believe he is still the leading wicket taker with 14 @ 12.64.
Thoroughly enjoying the BBL. Was good to see Carberry set up the Perth Scorchers victory the other day.

How's that going to help his bowling in Tests though?

I think the selectors are thinking more short term with the World T20 in a couple of months...

Do we need a new thread for this years tournament

We could use the same thing if we could just rename the thread. Sydney Thunder are losing wickets as quick as England, 115/6 now. Bollinger and Mennie, both picked up two wickets in one over. ST still score 159 thanks to half century from Gibson and a good innings from Pat Cummins.

The sixers chase down the runs with only losing one wicket, good partnership between Henriques and Daniel Hughes and a small cameo from Roy.

Fantastic captaincy from McCullum hands Brisbane Heat a tight 10 run victory against the Adelaide Strikers in a very high-scoring match.

Sydney Thunder have lost their second consecutive game in their title defense. Finch's 63 won the game for Renegades. Good spell from Tremain as well. Tremain is in Australia, if he were in England, he would be called Trexit.
