Division 1 Essex v. Lancs. Surrey v. Hants. Yorks. v. Notts. Som. v. Worcs.
Division 2 Northants. v. Warks. Durham v. Kent Leics. v. Sussex Derbs. v. Middx. Gloucs. v. Glam.
The top two in each division are, to my mind, the marquee games. Essex vs. Lancs. and Surrey vs. Hants. contain most people’s title contenders. (Meanwhile Yorkshire might actually get a game.) A couple of likely hideously one-sided games in Division 2, but Northants. and Warks. should be fun; meanwhile the CLS match might determine which of the two teams is most mentally shot, and have repercussions for the rest of the season.

Wonder if Headingley has managed to dry out yet?*
Looking forward to Surrey v Hants. Hoping for a good game although I'm a bit nervous! Tempted to go and watch a day this weekend.
*To future me, if looking back at this. It's April and the temperature is 28c. It better have dried out.

Looking forward to it turning square at Ciderabad... and a high-scoring draw at the Roadval.

Off to Taunton on Saturday. Never been before and looking forward to it very much. Treating the old man for his 75th birthday. Driving 3 hours for the privilege so hope this good weather holds!

Weather forecast for the rest of the match has dropped off a cliff, at least in the southeast and Midlands - bring an umbrella!

Has it? BBC don't think so.
I panicked when I saw rain forecast tomorrow on the overview, but it's a 30% chance between 8pm and 2am or so.
Shouldn't be too much interruption of play.

Predictions are a fool's game of course, but...
Division 1 Essex v. Lancs. - Essex win at home Surrey v. Hants. - Hants win, Surrey's bowling is well below where they'd like it to be Yorks. v. Notts. - Abandoned due to freak marsh, no balls bowled. Alternatively Notts win Som. v. Worcs. - Somerset win despite spin not being dominant
Division 2 Northants. v. Warks. - Warks blowout Durham v. Kent - Durham win Leics. v. Sussex - Sussex win Derbs. v. Middx. - Middlesex innings win Gloucs. v. Glam. - Gloucs win

My Apple weather app says it's going to thunder everywhere tomorrow, but that's nicknamed Inaccuweather for a reason.
Met Office and BBC agree that it might rain a bit, but should be generally ok. And hopefully the last couple of days have dried grounds out a lot.
EDIT: Morning all, by the way
