Do you think the extra man outside the circle in the last 10 overs will make much difference?
I think it'll have an impact - not everyone can smash it out of the ground regularly. I'd still expect scores above 300 more often than not though.

Rather scores above 300 than above 400.
Look, I just want to see a bit of caution in the innings building. Great though England's fresh young new "brand" (urgh) of cricket is, they basically go in and slog from the off. That to me shows a problem with something, whether it's the format or the rules or the bats or the ropes being brought in.
This thing... Well it's a start.

It is a good start but I still think that the boundaries should be pushed all the way back and there is plenty more to be down, before there is even something remotely resembling balance in the battle between bat and ball.
