Okay, I've been teasing this for a while and apologies it has taken so long but I hope you'll agree it's been worth it. I've been working on this with an Aussie chap (boourns, etc.) for the last few months, but we have officially gone fully automated. So... cricketxi.com/It's free, you log in with social media accounts like the blog (or you can sign up a Reddit account which needs nothing at all, not even a legit email) and you pick a team of 11 with 4 backup players in case of injuries or non-selections. This is better in lots of lovely ways: - Transfers work! Hurrah! 30 changes are allowed over the 16 match round season, but no more than four in a single week
- That means if someone gets injured, you don't have to carry them all season
- Pricing is fully operational rather than just the 1-4 groupings
- It all updates automatically - no more waiting for me!
- You can have multiple private leagues and teams, so feel free to advertise this far and wide.
I've created us a league to start off with - sign up and join in, hopefully you'll be as excited as me!
The league joining code is FIBNJQGO - this league will start scoring from round 1 so I'll probably create a second league to score from Round 2 to plug on the blog. Let me know if you have any problems as it's obviously all still in its infancy!

Joined it! Looks great. Challenging task, selecting a team to budget, a lot of chopping and changing at the end before I was satisfied. Only Nick Gubbins and Craig Miles survive from my team last year, with Benny Howell nearly making the cut until I remembered he was my worst performer last season. A great thing to have alongside the cricket this year, can't wait for it to get started!

Come on fellas, get those teams signed up, can always play with the selection later, it's unlimited transfers between now and the start of the season.
Who is 'legendarymanager' btw?

Nemo, its meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. That is my Reddit id, I couldn't change it after signing up though.
Pro Tip: If you are using 'Fanboy's Annoyance list' in your adblock, Google will be displayed as the only signing in method. Temporarily disable adblock to make it work.
Edit: I think the Help section has not been filled out yet. Need something with that? I could do a bit of writing and very tiny bit of HTML coding. And if you are thinking about having a image or some colours in the background, I could fill in with some css code too.
Suggestions: Is there anyway to have a screen name, because the sign up means that whatever we have in that respective account is the name in this one too.

You can hide your display name on settings, but not change it as we don't hold account information - hence having social sign ins only. You could sign up a new reddit/twitter account, which is what I did for the blog last season (my regular Twitter handle not being nemouks, unsurprisingly)
Also the help section (https://cricketxi.com/help?comp_id=14) is filled out, so if you're not seeing anything I suspect you've got another thing being adblocked. Not quite sure why that would be?

It looks marvellous. I've got a team, for now! Will likely change my mind a few times. Interesting how teams in a league are also paired off against each other.
Help section doesn't work for me either Nemo. The expandable sections don't expand. (Adblocker has been disabled.)

Okay, well I guess I might be sticking on with that name (Oooh, made that private. Nice touch, Nemo). And also, as Matt said, the Help section doesn't work. But apart from that, its excellente!

Help section being worked on overnight (the guy who does most of the development and who owns the site is an Aussie) so will get you to take a look tomorrow.
Let me know if you spot any missing or incorrect players as I can actually change those things! Also feel free to send the link to any cricket fans you know, got a team counter on the summary page now and would love to get it up past 100

It is very very tough picking a team, and its perhaps tougher to create all this stuff then. As regards the players' data: Jordan Clark (Lancs) is listed as a batsman but he is a bowler. Ollie Rayner is listed as an all-rounder but he is only a bowler.Barring that, its all good.
Edit: Fabian Cowdrey (Kent) has retired(?) His contract has been terminated by mutual consent

7 out of the 8 teams we need are in - also Humair yours isn't finished yet (13 players out of 15)
Would be great to see the last few people signing up, are you in yet Balladeer?

I'm not sir, sorry. Lack of free time to put my name in, plus it's all got a bit more complicated since last time! When's the deadline? Non-zero possibility I might sign up this weekend.

I should probably review my team before the season starts.

So I can move the game start back to Round 2 or 3 if people think it would help? There are more than enough rounds to finish the season still - and we could advertise it on the blog.
Team selection is a funny one, it's easy to get a team together but hard to get one that I don't feel the need to change every few minutes. At the moment Alistair Cook's early season availability and the thought of Chris Rushworth in Division Two are persuading me to go with 4-5 top tier price players and then grab some absolute bargains further down the list (Currently banking on Kiran Carlson, Max Holden and Saqib Mahmood, but wavering on all of them!)
What are people's thoughts? Stars and kids or a full team of good pros?

I've gone mostly solid pros.
Alastair Cook, Bell-Drummond, Northeast, Livingstone, Barker, Dawson, Phil Mustard, Tom Curran, Mason Crane, Toby Roland-Jones and Kyle Jarvis make my first XI for the time being. Reserves are generally cheap - Jack Leaning, Ryan Pringle, Lewis MacManus, Nathan Buck.
