It does, but I need to find a suitable replacement first.

Can't wait for the new season and the liveblogs. And hopefully we can get even more recruits to join in our discussions here! I'm not too sure what to predict or expect myself but Yorkshire's captain reckons Warwickshire will be a contender - www.espncricinfo.com/county-cricket-2016/content/story/993195.html"Warwickshire will be strong. They've as strong a squad as I've seen. They have always been strong with their bowling, but have struggled for runs at times. Now they have got Bell and Trott, possibly for most of the season, they will be a good side." Comments on Lancashire and Surrey too: "With Surrey and Lancashire coming up, they are probably aiming to win the County Championship. And there is no reason why not: they have the resources compared to a club that's running on a shoestring." "I believe it's the strongest division that I've seen for a long time," Gale said. "You usually get a team who has scraped up. No disrespect to Derbyshire or Worcester, but their aim coming into the season is probably to stay in the first division.

Surrey yes (much thought their pace-bowling has been injury-struck) - Lancashire, not so much. Can't wait for the new season and the liveblogs. And hopefully we can get even more recruits to join in our discussions here! I'm worried, I've got to admit. The Blob cast such a shadow over last year, especially the latter stages. Even Hopps' new admin. powers couldn't do much. The forum's "vet accounts before they post" system has worked well, but without something like that I think the discussion may struggle amidst the spam.

University matches! The university matches are here! C'mon Cambridge!
Are they even first-class any more? Also I remember Oxford's Malcolm Lake looking halfway decent last year.

I had erased the blobby antics from my mind, hopefully he won't emerge again but I'm not optimistic.
Anyway, hurray for the university matches. We're getting close now! The county previews today were on Hampshire and Glos by the way.

Speaking of Gloucs., after a rollicking start they've been pulled back a bit. Including one of the great dismissals, "Hankins b Jenkins".
That said, Ian Cockbain has the first fifty of the English season in England! #fiftywatch

Hopefully Hampshire can avoid relegation again. Dobell makes a good point about some of our ageing players though, so hopefully the young 'uns can step up.
Looking forward to seeing more of Crane and McManus in particular.
Hopefully Vince will score a few more runs this year, providing he's not warming the bench for England too much.

Ian Westwood notches up the second fifty! #fiftytastic #marchoftheians
I don't have much to say about Middx. Expect them to carry on much as usual. Top seam attack, no spin to speak of, Australian bloke scoring most of the runs etc. etc.
Nick Browne breaks the Ian-fifty partnership.

You pre-empted my edit by seconds, Matt. Seconds I say!
Which is incidentally the Warks. team Bell should be playing for. Boom!

Hain out for only 2, that's unfortunate. Want to see him do well, one of my favourite younger players in the county circuit. Well at least Trott is in now, like for like.
Speaking of talented younger players, Worcestershire's Joe Clarke has just reached his own century.
