Couple of hours from the start of this test.
Can West Indies regain some respect, or will Australia smash them?

Judging by the close of play scoreboard I somewhat doubt they can gain any confidence... I feared this would be an innings defeat prior to the start of the test, now i'm almost certain it will be! Have to say I'm happy for Shaun Marsh, when I saw him make a hundred against Kent in July he looked like a man who needed a little run in the team to get firing.
The West Indies are certainly a better bowling team which really worries you with their batting. How many they will actually be able to score? Chandrika is a walking wicket and is on for a 3rd duck in 3 innings. (Anyone know what the worst test career is?) Braithwaite is starting to lose any confidence people had in him. Bravo, Samuels & Ramdin are so inconsistent & Blackwood could be in his sporadic T20 mindset where he just throws it away. Worrying times

Does this even deserve a thread? The WI are terrible in the longest format, simply terrible. I really like Brathwaite, seems to have the right sort of temperament - just doesn't seem that... good.

At least the West Indies have made it to the close in their first innings. Darren Bravo has batted beautifully

Kemar Roach scored the second-most. Oh my Richards and Greenidge and Lara of long ago...
