I presume that 303/6 after day one is regarded as a typical wicket then, which should deteriorate and help the spinners on the last day?

I presume that 303/6 after day one is regarded as a typical wicket then, which should deteriorate and help the spinners on the last day? That is usually the case, but the pitch in pune usually doesn't turn a great deal. And given Haryana have a better batting outfit than bowling, I'd say a draw is slightly more likely, with the pitch easing out. Unless of course, a collapse from either side in one of the next two innings.

TN's spinners running riot once again. On debut, Chandrasekar has three wickets in his first three overs. And from looking like they might be conceding a 100 run lead, they might yet pinch a single digit lead.
EDIT: I spoke too soon. Yusuf Pathan taking the game away from TN, and the 100-run deficit is back on the table.

Who's this Pathania bloke bowling for Services then? Consecutive six-fers. Cricinfo doesn't seem to know who he is.

He is a right arm medium pacer, playing his first FC game. Has an ok record in his 6 List-A games.

Medium pacer. Of course he is. Ho hum. Meanwhile, at UP! 513, and their bowling attack doesn't look bad at all either.

UP don't have a tail. They are the Machines of the Ranji Trophy, in that regard.

I meant regarding their bowling, but they're clearly not Middlesex analogies because they can bat!

ha ha, I know. but they have Amit Mishra, who has a test fifty to his name, and FC average of 28 with the bat, at No.11

50 overs bowled by Baroda, all by spinners. Only enhances Chennai's reputation as a dust bowl and a spinner's paradise.
Speaking of Spinners, Sir Jadeja's bowling figures in the first innings for Saurashtra, 27.1-13-27-6
Jadeja, eh?

He's alright in the subcontinent. I kinda want to switch allegiance to whichever team plays in Vizianagram. Vizianagram. What a name.

I like spin wickets, but the Baroda vs TN pitch looks very dangerous and the ball is spinning way to much.

That is by no means a rank turner, that is a good spinning pitch. How is it dangerous? Dangerous for batsmen's averages, yes. Otherwise a regular Chennai spinning pitch, that is all.
