Ryan McLaren has signed with Lancashire for next season. Disappointing for Hampshire, he served us well.

McLaren will be available with us the whole season and will play in all competitions. Finally, a good signing.

McLaren is a really good signing for Lancs. Anyone know if Hants wanted him back, i'd be surprised if they didn't. Perhaps money talked..?
Anyone know any likely candidates for Somerset's overseas player. I'm assuming they'll go with a batsman who will be captain, ala Rogers. A bit of a left field suggestion, but i quite fancy Cameron White. Been with us before, proven track record in all formats and an experienced captain. Could do worse

I know keeping some of our first team regulars will probably be a big win but I wouldn't mind a signing even if it is just one to keep the hopes up.

Leicestershire have signed Colin Ackermann of RSA.
Edit: Still no news of Alviro's return. His contract was for 2 years with the option of one year and now it looks like he wouldn't be coming back.

Not a signing but still, Sir Ian Botham has been appointed as the chairman of Durham. Good luck, Sir Beefy. Now if he rubs something on Stokes. Very excited to see how this one turns out.

Stiaan van Zyl has joined Sussex on a three year deal, they're not immediately confirming whether as overseas (Magoffin has a UK passport now I believe) or kolpak.
The amount of South African signings is getting silly, it makes a mockery of the 'one overseas' thing. I don't necessarily want to see nothing but English players, but I'd rather we were honest about it and allowed four non-UK players or something as that's what every county basically ends up with.

I think when Brexit kicks in, Kolpak and Bosman rulings will no longer apply. I wish one rule change, one overseas (Non-UK) player per club and players from Associate nations will not be counted as overseas. It would be interesting to see that.
EDIT: Stiaan Van Zyl has signed under Kolpak ruling.

Hants have signed Fidel Edwards again even though he is injured now and is injury prone. He has a lovely, rhythmic action though.
EDIT: In other Hants news, Wheal and Mason Crane have signed new deals.
