Other than Jordan, I like it. Dawson is a useful third spinner, can bat and is a decent fielder. Been a handy player for Hampshire in all formats over the years.

Sarah Taylor is in some good form at the moment, three 50+ scores in a row in the current series. Contributed a lot to the series win. Also enjoyed how they've aired these past couple of women's games.

We have at least had some commentary. Next step - more ladies' Tests?

Hopefully more ladies tests. Just a shame really for Sarah Taylor that she hasn't ever transferred her One Day qualities to the test arena!

Like bollocks it'll happen. India will never let themselves be relegated. Nor would England. (Nor would Australia, but they won't get anywhere near it anyway.)

Looking at Pakistan v UAE's Mohammed/Muhammed heavy lineups, would Mohammed definitely be the winner in a shared first name XI contest? I wouldn't allow surnames, so Hanif Mohammed wouldn't be available, but they'd certainly be a strong outfit.
If we were to make shared sur/first name XIs, are there any non-religious names that could compete with Mohammed and Singh?

Ian Botham, Austin... Salisbury? Maybe not.

Chappell wasn't bad. And Harvey.

Martin Crowe has passed away, awful news. An NZ legend gone too soon.

I'm going to suggest that such things are too serious for a thread with "bantah" in the title, and ask the forum if anyone would like to make a new one.
I never experienced Crowe's playing - what I did experience was his writing on Cricinfo, and it was good insightful clever stuff.
