Yes, I'd prefer to see them start with another batsman as an opener in the UAE rather than Moeen. I can see England throwing a new opener into the fray on the South Africa tour which would be pretty tough on the new guy. I'd rather they blood a new opener against Pakistan to at least gain some experience. Unfortunately I don't have a whole ton of faith in the selectors and expect them to stick with what is familiar, so I'm expecting them to go with Moeen anyway.

Can't believe that Headingley & Durham have tests in May. Rushworth for England!

Pakistan make 136 in first t20, good score on a very slow pitch. Zimbabwe will have to play well to win.
Edit: Pakistan win by 13 runs, Fantastic bowling from Imad Wasim (4-11) and very good fielding by Pakistan to win the match.

We're going to get a lot of pointless T20s in the lead-up to the international thingy, aren't we? Great...
Meanwhile - Sabbir Rahman, eh?

The World Cup is next year, so there's bound to be a lot of games. Anyways, given how much you loathe the format, it is pointless to argue.

Pakistan make 136 again in second t20, on a very slow pitch.
Edit: Pakistan win by 15 runs and take the series 2-0. Another fantastic performance from the bowlers and the fielders.

Yes, it could well be finished... much like Phil Simmons.
Zing! And also, blimey.

Can someone explain briefly what is happening with Phil Simmons?! He's been suspended after (correctly) suggesting that the selection panel picks for non performance based reasons after he and Clive Lloyd were outvoted on picking Pollard and Dwayne Bravo in the ODI squad.

WI aren't producing as many great players as they used to. They really can't afford to waste the ones they have. They might never make it as a great test team, but LO they still have what it takes.
