England have chipped away a bit but Doran moves onto 50. That average!

Good to see England's young guns keeping the fine English tradition of being unable to get the tail out alive.
Another ton for Doran. The most terrifying prospect in Aussie cricket as an Englishman?

The picture makes it. Good stuff. More wicketless scoring from our battling young openers.

They're going to need to - most of them will be in the top team by the end of this series! ZING!
(I know, I know - LO != Tests.)

I don't actually understand how Chris Lynn isn't in the Australian first team anyway.

Despite having a FC record that says otherwise, he is considered a LO specialist. Also there is the small matter of the Queensland-bias, most of the current Aussie side are either from New South Wales or play for them. And aside from the odd player or two from Western Austrayah, Oz seem to select exclusively from NSW and Victoria.

The England U19's haven't done too well today in the ODI, all out for 99 and Australia are 89/3. Pretty comfortable for them.

The U19's ODI series has been drawn, England win in what looks to have been a great match.

Moeen Ali opening in the UAE. This sounds absolutely horrible. I rate the bloke as a Test all-rounder who plays at 6-to-8, not as an opening batsman. He'll probably be better than Lyth, but...

He may do alright against Pakistan, but it would have to be a short term move. Moeen Ali opening against Steyn, Philander and Morkel? Not sure how successful that would be. I rather see Hales given a go. Not convinced about him either, but there's a chance he could be our version of Warner.

Moe as opener seems like a much better bet than Moe the front line spinner in the UAE.

He could work in that position in the short term before they decide on the next opener. Definitely don't think he'll be there in the South Africa tour though. It was good to see Bayliss confirm that they'll be thinking about playing at least two spinners against Pakistan though, so moving Moe up there would make room.

But the thing is, you don't need a three-man pace attack in the UAE, especially if you have Stokes as the fourth seamer, who can bowl 90+ mph. So you can stick with two pacers and two spinners, and still go with seven batters(including keeper)
