So the women can do absolutely sodding pitiful too. Who'd have thought it?

The one and only test tomorrow. Let's see if the women can step it up too, they really need to win it.

Let's see if Charlotte Edwards can maintain her record of never having a test duck!
Been a bit wet in Kent this morning, there is rain around all day but the showers are scattered. Fingers crossed

Lost the toss. Not the best start ever. And Cricinfo still isn't doing BbBC.

Surely it can't be that hard to get ball by ball coverage?

Solid start by the aussie openers, showing the men how it is done.

Why declare? Any extra runs would be most welcome I would have thought. I know this is a four-day match, still. plenty of time remaining for a result.

Perry with a pearler. England in deep, deep trouble.
NOTE: that was before the second wicket. now in deep, deep, deep trouble.

Thirty-something for three? This seems familiar...

This is a good start, Brunt's a great character. Lanning gone for 0. Shame about the bad light.

Really? Give Brunt a rest, bring her back on again. An extended spell like the England bowlers had, in the first session at Edgbaston. I think it'll work out fine.
