The "Introduce Yerselves" thread told me one thing very clearly: videogames and cricket fans have a large enough overlap for this thread to be a thing. First, a none-too-subtle plug. I do a videogames forum thing, mostly Nintendo. It's in my signature. Do check it out. Right: what do you play, and what are you playing at the moment? I'm a big Nintendo fan, bought all their consoles since the N64. I'm currently playing Yoshi's Woolly World on-off: it's a standard charming Nintendo platformer with woolly graphics, and it's adorable. Your turn!

Yoshi's woolly world is such a great game! Seeing you say you've had all the the nintendo consoles, what was your favourite Gamecube game?
I play an awful lot of different games. I play a fair bit on my PS3 still, just because Call of Duty 4 is my favourite game ever made and I have Don Bradman on that. I also play on my computer through Steam, mainly Day Of Defeat & Counter Strike, but for the most part i'm on my Xbox One playing Battlefield 4/Madden/Fifa/COD.
At the moment I'm playing Counter Strike Global Offensive & Call Of Duty advanced warfare. Counter Strike is so skill based, I'm really just trying to get to a higher division in competitive. The Call Of Duty franchise is going backwards and i'm not even a little bit excited about Black Ops 3 (I hate Treyarch other than World At War), but sadly i'm quite good at call of duty so I play it anyway and find myself in the top divisions of competitive and have won a few competitions.
Star Wars Battlefront will make my year.

Ooh, tough. It's a close call between Metroid Prime and Paper Mario: the Thousand-Year Door. Both splendid games for very different reasons.
Can't play shooters. Can't aim, don't like the gritty style, and I'm not a great fan of online. But fair play to those who do. Might give Splatoon a go down the line.
I'd put up a poll about what games machines you'd play on, but ProBoards seems to be playing silly buggers at the moment.

Ah yes 2 excellent games.
Splatoon is great fun! I know that shooters aren't for everyone...
Well I have (at the moment): Gameboy colour & Advance, gamecube, wii, ps3, xbox one, psp, ps vita.

Ahhh, I remember my Gameboy. Massive great red brick of a thing, four AAs. Better as a blunt instrument than a console now. Still, great fun at the time.

Mine was a beautiful yellow brick. I still use mine every so often, it's just the damn lighting that is the problem with it! Nothing like whipping out Pokemon red and having a play!

I'm a big Nintendo fan, owned all the home consoles since the SNES. Haven't owned much on the handheld side apart from the GBA and 3DS but I've enjoyed those a lot too. Saying that, I haven't played much Nintendo stuff this year and I've mostly focused on PC/PS4 games. I've been enjoying Bloodborne a lot as of late, I've never been a Souls guy but I've really liked that game. Also played a fair few grand strategy games too, mostly Paradox ones such as Crusader Kings II. I'm waiting for Star Wars Battlefront and Fallout 4 to arrive now, beyond excited for those two.

I'm a stickler for sports games, never been one for action or shooting or online.

I like FIFA, but EA don't massively listen to the fans, and the game is too buggy for my liking at the moment. It's too easy tbh

I have all the Playstation consoles, and enjoyed most easy games, Fifa and Don Bradman. I own the Wii and DS and really liked playing wii sports. Since my disability has got worse I now just play mouse-based PC games like Football Manager.

Can't be doing with sports games. I'm not a big sports fan bar cricket, which I prefer following to playing anyway. The exceptions are the Wii Sports games, which are fun distractions (plus I loved having Hitler pitching a curveball to Tintin), and the Mario sports range. I love Mario, I do. (Not in that way.)
Vaddon, get your Yoshi on. I promise that it will make you smile more than most games this year. That said, if I do get a PS4, Bloodborne has piqued my interest. But I'm not a patient man, and I worry that the difficulty will exhaust my patience quickly.

Dota 2 is my current game of choice, though I mix in a bit of Skyrim in there if I can't be bother to work with a team.
