I didn't say this at the time, but **** Giles Clarke. Since when was Bradley Brad Braddin Haddin a columnist for Cricinfo? Oh well, one more thing on the site I can merrily ignore.

The Pakistan Super League has a team called the Lahore Qalandars. The Lahore Qalandars.
"Dwayne Bravo, when's the next PSL match?" "I don't know, I'll check my Qalandar."

And of course, their cheerleaders, the Qalandar Girls

May I say how unpleasant it is to see Nigel Farage on the front page of Cricinfo? If he were involved with cricket, he'd be Giles Clarke.

Article on a proposed Test championship: www.espncricinfo.com/blogs/content/story/988631.htmlMore interesting than the article, I felt, was the survey linked to half the way down, asking about how you feel about a Test championship. I prioritised the importance of inclusivity (is that even a word?) for most of my answers.

Farewell Jos Buttler, it was nice having you:

Don't worry Vaddon - it's not Buttler they've nicked but Butler, his lookalike.

His half-Indian twin, seperated at birth.

The women's super league teams have had England players allocated to them (should we have a women's forum? At the moment we have domestic men's comps and foreign, and it's kinda neither)
Three for most, four for two:
Western Storm: Anya Shrubsole, Heather Knight, Fran Wilson Diamonds: Katherine Brunt, Danni Hazell, Jenny Gunn & Lauren Winfield Lancashire Thunder: Sarah Taylor, Danni Wyatt, Kate Cross Southern Vipers: Charlotte Edwards, Natasha Farrant, Lydia Greenway Stars: Tammy Beaumont, Laura Marsh, Nat Sciver Lightning: Georgia Elwiss, Amy Jones, Becky Grundy & Beth Langston
Seems fairly balanced, might pop along to see the Western game in Bristol if I get a chance.

Pretty balanced, seems fair. I was wondering about a women's section myself, just because I thought a discussion about the inaugural women's super league could be interesting. But it doesn't seem to fit into any of the current subforums, haha. Most of the teams also have logos now and some actually look pretty decent.

I can make a women's cricket forum appear at some point.
Southern Vipers would be my team, so quite happy with their trio.

It's the format of the future.

I see Mitchell Starc and Alyssa Healy have tied the knot: are the Aussies now breeding super cricketers and can we make sure Joe Root and Sarah Taylor are introduced?
