I was wondering why Santokie keeps getting world T20 gigs...

I for long thought Santokie has got that many T20 gigs because he has a smashing name...

I would honestly have Woakes opening. Didn't wanna leave out any of Bell, Root, Trott and KP! So Cook, Woakes, Trott, Root, KP, Bell, Stokes, Prior, Swann, Broad, Anderson for me.

Strauss, Cook, Trott, Root, Bell, Stokes, Prior, Swann, Bresnan, Broad and Anderson for me. Brezzie I feel is a touch better than Woakesy in overseas conditions.
And also, non-RFM bowlers is a good pick for scrutiny but at least their records stand out (a bit). But look at the choices for opening batsmen. If Rory Burns and Keaton J are in the list for the team of the decade, it isn't very inspiring. Burns is still a greenhorn having played just a handful of games. Three of the choices have not made more than 1000 runs. It's beyond farcial.

www.theguardian.com/sport/2019/dec/24/the-spin-test-team-of-the-decade-cricketThat's the team of the decade for all teams. My lineup would be: Cook, Williamson, Steven Smith, Kohli, Clarke (c), Stokes, Dhoni, Lyon, Steyn, Broad, Anderson Reserves: AB, Amla, Sangakkara, Ashwin, Mike Hussey, Swann, Shakib

I pretty much agree with them. Would pick Shakib over Stokes I think, and somebody over Johnson. Boult maybe?
Merry Boxing Day Eve all!

Happy birthday to the holy trinity - Alastair Cook, Marcus Trescothick and Jesus Christ. A world class top three if ever there was one.

Jesus is surely a spinner. Don’t put him behind the stumps, though - the ball will keep going through his hands.

Rashid Khan took the most t20i wickets in the decade despite being 11 when it started.
Wishing everyone here a happy new year!

U-19 WC: Afghanistan win against South Africa with 25 overs to spare. A young leggie took 6 wickets for them. In some time, they could be a force to reckon with.

The problem is likely the infrastructure rather than the raw talent... but yes, here’s hoping.
