India nailed the "England pre-Morgan" game plan with the platform and burst in the last ten overs.
England nailing the "England post-Morgan, fuck it go from ball 1" game plan and now 70 runs ahead on the at this stage count with Johnny Bairstow absolutely boshing it.

I did think at the halfway point that the pundits were being a bit harsh on Eng for conceding 320 odd runs, the pitch throughout has looked a beauty to bat on....if Eng had batted first on this, I reckon 400+ would have been on the cards, for some reason India just tap taparoo'd it around for 40 before going on the blitz

England have absolutely bottled this.

Said it before and i'll say it again.....what do Curran (S&T) bring to the table? Rather have David Willey as a left hand option or Lewis Gregory as a right hand option, better batting options at least

Anyway....fk it, looking forward to Malan making 100 off about 100 and then having his place called into question

To be fair the ODI side is the one team where I’d understand not wanting to change the batting line-up. What they really need is a replacement for Liam Plunkett.

Remember when England were good at ODIs? Not to tempt fate, but - ah, there they are.

Big miss is Plunkett, and I can't really think of anyone who'd be an obvious choice to replace him as the middle overs enforcer. Impressed with Topley today, but that was at the top and death. Still, England doing what they pretty much were on course to do t'other day before they completely fucked it.

If Billings is fit to play the last game, I wonder if they'll play him ahead of Malan? Livingston's finishing then will have endeared him to Morgan in a way that Malan's slower paced innings may not have. They're also keen to find a RHB finisher, and are v well stocked in the LH mid order section

Malan wasn't in the squad initially, Livingstone was. If Billings is fit, he'll replace Malan.
Agree with what was mentioned above - the bowling is the problem, especially through the middle if Moeen's powers continue to wane.
