It is perhaps not the most popular format for county fans but I thought a topic for general discussion of the Blast would be useful, for those interested.

As I create this thread, Bairstow has put in another masterclass of an innings against Durham, falling on 92 just short of a century. Displaying wonderful form in two formats now.
Additionally, Middlesex managed to complete only their third victory of the competition but still sit far at the bottom of the South Group. Worcestershire almost managed a win against Warwickshire but the latter squeezed the victory out, guaranteeing the former champs a place in the quarters. It shouldn't damage Worcester's quarter-finals prospects though, as they also seem highly likely to qualify.

Kent and Warks for the title for me. Sussex are my dark horses. Your predictions?

I can't see Kent keeping it up, simply because I'm a pessimist when it comes to Kent playing. I'd like to think we can win it though.
Sussex are my outside prediction.

Warks look solid again this season and Kent seems impressive, Northeast is a beast. I'm tempted to throw Worcs in as a dark horse as they look pretty good too but they still struggle to win over Warks.

Worcs have potential if Mitchell/Oliver fire up top. Otherwise they will struggle.

Worcs managed to secure a QF spot tonight with their win over Yorkshire, good effort from them!
Looking forward to Lancs v Notts tomorrow, should be interesting.

Will be very interesting. Incredible innings by Whiteley last night though, just showcases what a good batsman he is when he fires.

Yorkshire once again showing though that there aren't even half as good in LO as they are in the Championship

Jason Roy racked up a century (unbeaten on 122 in the end) against Somerset, good to see. Big night for a bunch of counties seeking those QF spots.
Edit: Super innings from Wessels, well played. Shame about missing the century.

Interesting set of final fixtures in prospect, but a lot will depend on whether Hampshire can beat Somerset and Surrey can beat bottom-placed Machines.

Warwickshire edge it against Northants by just one run, very tight finish. Northants will have to win their last game against Durham to be completely certain of qualification, there's always a small possibility that both Lancs and Notts might win their games to bump Northants out of the top 4, depending on whether they lose to Durham. Friday will be very interesting with all sorts of results possible.

North group is just as interesting as the South then! Shame Sky have shown Warwickshire so many times this year or else I may have watched that game.

Warks are defending champs and have Baz, so it is not surprising that they have been shown on Sky so many times. The one thing that I don't understand is why they had to show Durham so many times, they don't have a good T20 team.
